So, week 1 is done... let's talk about it
How did it go for you?
Your scalp and hair need time to adjust to new a hair care system, it's common to experience a transitional detox period so your hair may behave differently.
Roots may feel oilier as the scalp's oil production goes from overproduction to normalising, especially if you've been using a shampoo and have moved to a non-foaming cleanser.
This transition can take 4-6 weeks to normalise be patient, things will improve.
Working out your application amounts may take some time - key points to look out for are if your hair feels dry or looks unmanageably frizzy then your curls need more moisture - use more Curl Conditioner and/or Curl Cream. If curls are fluffy you need to apply more gel. Ensure styling products are being applied to very wet hair for optimum definition. Make a note of your good curl days so you can see what has worked consistently or what hasn't!
