In honour of Valentine's week, Bouclème's Founder and CEO, Michele Scott-Lynch designated some time for us to discover how she practises her #metime rituals.
What is your full name?
Michele Jane Scott-Lynch. Interesting fact - when my mum and dad decided on my name, my dad went to register it as Michele Lisa Lynch and he put Jane!
What is your day job?
I am Founder and CEO of clean curl care brand, Bouclème.
What time do you set your alarm and what is the first thing you do?
6:30am - hit the snooze button ;)
If we were BFF's for the day, what would we do?
We would go to an exercise class first thing in the morning to get us going, then get glammed up for some retail therapy and a lovely lunch at Comptoir Libanais. Followed by a nice massage after all that walking up and down Oxford Street, then we would go to Claridges for some cocktails before heading home.
How do you carve out some #metime in your week? What do you enjoy doing most?
I find it difficult to carve out me time during the week because I also have 2 children, so if I'm not working then I'm ferrying them around from club to club, cooking, so really the only time I get me time is if I'm going out with the girls or my husband maybe once or twice a week. If I'm feeling super stressed, the best thing for me is to run a bath, read my favourite book and pour in a nice capful of Aromatherapy Associates Inner Strength and that will get me through.
What do you enjoy doing most?
I'm a really sociable person, I love being with people and hanging out with my besties doing whatever! Even if it's sat in a coffee shop chatting.
What is your favourite life quote?
Comparison is the thief of joy.
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
You are amazing, much better than you actually believe you are.
What would you cook or order for your last supper?
An amazing burger from Byron! And an Oreo milkshake.
Where is your happy place?
What do very few people know about you?
When I was in my twenties, I snogged one of the members of NSYNC! It was hilarious - and we did choreographed dancing on the dance floor, it was good fun!
